Actress Nicole Kidman revealed her heart was broken when she found out about the apparent suicide of her close friend L’Wren Scott.
Mick Jagger’s longtime girlfriend hung herself in her New York apartment two days ago, and since then many celebrities have paid their tributes, including Bette Midler, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Olivia Wilde and Jagger’s former wife, Bianca.
Jagger recently admitted he was “still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.” Kidman’s representative has addressed the tragedy, adding the actress was too shaken to pay her respect in public.
The representative told Yahoo, “Nicole and L’Wren were close friends for 25 years. Nicole is heartbroken and in shock right now and unable to say anything.”
In mid-time, model Cory Kennedy added that Keith Richard’s family was also left shaken by the tragic news. She told “I spoke to (Richards’ daughter) Alexandra Richards and her mum Patti (Hansen) is having a really tough time.”
Additionally, guitar player Ronnie Wood’s former wife told CNN, “She (Scott) was like this statuesque, floating around, elegant woman (sic). Very hard to get close to, but at the same time she would always be really lovely to you.”
“I can’t believe that she took her life… It’s very, very sad. My heart really goes out to Mick… He’s devastated, he’s absolutely devastated. It must be a real, real shock to him.”
